THE DYLAWS
The sacred rules that govern The Dy. Ignorance is not an excuse.
vs. CPU Deadline
You have 2 days to play your game against the computer. After 2 days, it's a Force Win for you.
— The CPU doesn't have feelings. Beat it and move on.
vs. User Deadline
You have 4 days to play your game against another user. After 4 days, the matchup is eligible for a Pen (league vote).
— Coordinate with your opponent. Communication is key.
Pen Vote Resolution
When a user matchup goes to Pen, the league (excluding the 2 players involved) votes on the outcome: Sim, Force Win, or other resolution. Tie goes to Simulate.
— Democracy in action. Mostly.
Travel Exception
If you know you'll need more time, you can request a Pen vote BEFORE the deadline to avoid a Force Win. Leniency for travel is assumed.
— Just give the league a heads up. We're reasonable people.
Multiple CPU Delay
If 2 or more computer matchups are causing the week delay, only a Pen (league vote) can force advancement—no automatic Force Wins.
— We're not monsters. Sometimes life happens to multiple people.
Disconnects
If a disconnect occurs vs. CPU, it's a full replay. If vs. a user, both players make best efforts to recreate the game situation (score, time, possession, etc.) and resume from there.
— Screenshots help. Document everything.
Unlisted Situations
Anything not explicitly covered in the Dylaws requires a Pen (league vote) to resolve.
— When in doubt, vote it out.
